/OUTSIDE IN - Site-specific installation created for Outdoor Festival 2018 in Rome.

The work unfolds through five successive portals: a theatrical threshold rendered in a fluorescent palette that neutralizes the divide between indoor and outdoor, reconfiguring the perception of space and time. The progression symbolizes the circadian cycle — dawn, day, night — while the entrance, modeled on the forms of the female reproductive system, evokes the origin of life, transforming the access into a symbolic gateway.

Responding to the “Heritage” theme, the piece employs geometries evoking both mountain ranges and wave movements — Italy’s natural borders — elevating them into symbols of national heritage. These shapes repeat in constant variations, defining the very margins of the installation.
