CAMOUFLAGE 86030
CAMOUFLAGE 86030 is an outdoor mural created by UNO in April 2016 for the inaugural edition of the CVTÀ Street Fest in Civitacampomarano (CB), Italy.
This site-specific work utilizes the artist's signature and pattern-based aesthetic to engage with the unique architecture of the village. The composition features contrasting patterns—stripes, polka dots, and the classic wallpapers featuring the face of GüNTER—layered over the rough facade of an old building.
The piece explores the concept of "camouflage" not as disappearance, but as a deliberate integration into the environment. It serves as a commentary on the changing identity of rural Italy, where modern art interventions revitalize and re-contextualize historical spaces.
The inclusion of the local postal code 86030 anchors the artwork firmly to its geographical and cultural roots, highlighting the dialogue between the global language of street art and the hyper-local identity of the community.
The CVTÀ Street Fest was curated and directed by Alice Pasquini.
